HEALTHY BREAKFAST DAY IN SPAIN

Last Friday 7th of April, we celebrated in the school the Healthy Breakfast Day trying to promote healthy habits in our students and theis families.

To do this, a nutritionist from Tomelloso’s hospital called Ana Jiménez came to talk with the families about healthy food for children, the importance of the family in the children’s healthy habits and the nutrients that children need to take.
.

After the talk, we prepared a healthy breakfast for all the school community which was composed of bread with oil and tomato, and fruit sticks with banana, orange and strawberries.

During the breakfast, the 5th and 6th grade students interviewed the parents and teachers about their healthy habits.

Once we finished the breakfast, the students did some activities related to healthy habits in their classes and the nutritionist did an activity about labeling food.
